Luca was actually 3 1/2 months in these pictures...it's just taken me this long to post them...

Things are going great with the little man. He's 4 months now and smiling up a storm. Life is great.

afternoon in May

We need new deck chairs...badly...One afternoon, one of the existing chairs that we were using ripped right through the butt...perfect...SO, I dusted off the good ole' Pelican Chair from my teenage years in Cali (I knew there was a good reason that we were hording that away!) Alex and I just wanted to sit and have a peaceful glass of wine, is that so much to ask these days? =)

After about 5 minutes of trying to figure out how to open up that damn thing I finally did, and a pile of pacific sand spewed out onto my toes...Thanks for the reminder...I miss the beach, so so much!

Our Duke...

Makes me wonder why we even have pets when it's this hard to say goodbye...But I do know why...their personalities, loyalty and love are worth it... We love you and will miss you Geezer!
